Overview

MICSSA is a bi-annual symposium aimed at promoting Information and Communications related developments to stakeholders in the Southern African defence environment, military and civilian alike. It is an ideal opportunity to promote new technologies, trends and policy issues and to exhibit wares demonstrating the fore-front of technology.

MICSSA is proudly brought to you by Command and Management Information Systems Division (CMIS Div) of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and State Information Technology Agency (SITA).

Aim

MICSSA continues the tradition of building on the opportunity of promoting Information and Communications related developments between the defence community - government and industry - local and international – where ideas, strategies, requirements and potential solutions can be shared and discussed.

Venue

The symposium will be held at the CSIR Conference Centre, CSIR, Meiring Naude Road, Pretoria, South Africa. (Click for roadmap)

Language

The Symposium will be conducted in English only.

Who should attend?

Format

The symposium will consist of a combination of plenary sessions and specialist tracks, offering delegates the widest possible exposure to the relevant subject matter.
